  • A flu is going round the office and I am the latest victim.


    We went to see 007 on Saturday and afterwards jkpiggy said he would get me a gift within a sum he set. BUT I WAS TOO ILL TO GO SHOPPING!!! Damn it! By the way I loved this new 007! I think Daniel Craig is a much better actor than Pierce Brosnan, but the latter is more attractive. What I don't understand is that this film is supposed to be the prequel to all 007 films right? So why was the film set in present day? Or is 007 timeless?


    I felt dizzy the entire weekend and did not sleep well. Both my mind and body were exhausted but I just could not sleep. I went to school for the first hour yesterday and just had to get home and rest.


    jkpiggy said to his dad about my illness, "It is so good to see her sitting down quietly! Normally she talks to much. I wish she could be ill like this everyday."


    Have a really horrible school timetable this week : this evening, tomorrow evening, then Thursday through Tuesday! Argh!!!

    Saw The Spice Girls : 10 Years of Girl Power last night. I was hoping for a program like Raw Spice but I was wrong. It was a discussion of whether 'Girl Power' enhances feminism and it was rather boring. jkpiggy walked off after the first 15 minutes. I believe they sent out positive vibes to young girls (their main fan base), in the way that they should do whatever they want and it is ok to speak out, etc etc. But the main thing was - it was all part of the Spice Girls marketing right?


    The program brought back so many memories ha ha! Sometime in 1996 my friend Eathar wanted to get their cd for her little brother (who was 8y-o at the time) but was too embarrassed to go buy it, and so she paid another girl to do the job! Ha ha! Little did I know that few years later the same happened to me : jkpiggy wanted to buy Backstreet Boys (or was it Westlife?) cd and force me to walk up to the cashier! Ha ha!!

  • I think they're trying to show us the early years of mr bond. Although i dont think they were successful at that and did you see sony's name written all over the movie?

    I like Casino Royale, especially the opening scene with the french guy flying around.

  • i went to uk in 1996-2001 and i studied a-levels n BA in uk... i studied at LCP (london insitiute)

    yeah i miss uk every single day as well and i wish to go back this year...

    speaking of spice gal- i rbr i went to eqonix (forgot the spelling, the disco outside empire cinema lei)  i saw them performed on the stage and i was standing in the first row.. that time they were just famous!!!

  • totally agree about casino royale. i've seen it twice now! he's less handsome, but more believable. you can finally see some blood coming out when he gets injured :p

    girl power..I guess girls have the power of good looks, that's all...haha.

  • I had the same experience when i wanted to purchase a taiwanese drama series - the F4 's MetroGarden or something like that .. I paid extra and asked my cousin get it for me. :wha:
