  • Pig-out

and I had a total pig-out dinner buffet @ Marriott last night. Actually it was just me because he was dragged out for tea earlier in the afternoon. I ate very little duing the day and by dinner time I was really quite hungry. Omg I ate so much I don't know how I am going to lose all the flab!

I think we had too much expectation for the food. It used to be really good but last night it was not at all impressive. I think we will stick with Sunday buffet brunch @ Nicholini's until we find something else.

    Intrusion of privacy?

On my way home the other day I spotted this really fit guy standing a few steps away from me. Omg I couldn't resist taking a photo of him and at the same time having inappropriate thoughts of him in my head!!

But lawyer said the act was in fact intrusion of fit guy's privacy because I had the intention to photograph him! Oh dear! And all of you know I do that all the time!! Oops! I hope I don't get caught!!

C.BREEZE is now on sale! A a few words from my friend KK:

Our Summer 2006 Further Sale has started!

Up to 50% off on ready-to-wear and accessories.

  • DREAMS... CAN COME TRUE?

I had one of the most wonderful dreams last night and I woke up feeling happy, loved and refreshed!

Thank you for being in my dream. You know who you are!

  • WHAT COULD ONE DO WITH HK$20?

HK$20 is enough for special service from a 75y-o prostitute...

Ms Ng, left, allegedly charged her friend (so she claimed) HK$20 for sex. When caught, police discovered a tube of lubricant in her purse. Ewww!

(FYI, a Big Mac meal costs HK$22.30.)

One part of me feels really sorry for her. I mean, any 75y-o should have retired years ago, and not to mention the kind of business Ms Ng was in! It is not like she sits in an air-conditioned room! Her work is strenuous!! Poor granny!

The other part of me is just disgusted. Bloody hell! How desperate do you have to be to do it with a wrinkly 75y-o?

    From THE SUN:

Clickable map showing site of four blasts: Liverpool Street, Russell Square, Edgware Road and Tavistock Square.

Can't believe it has been one whole year since the horrific attack on the London transport system. I still remember receiving Stella's sms telling me not to take the tube (we were going to meet up that day). The rest, as they say, was history. I was glued to the various news channels all day and I felt numb. I was most affected by the bombing of No.30 bus in Tavistock Square because 24 hours before I was in the area visiting my old teacher at UCL!

That same evening I went to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Chelsea. Who would have thought a year later  grew into a big fan of his shows!!

I don't know how he manages to do so many things at the same time. At the moment the second season of F Word is airing in the UK and across the pond you have Hell's Kitchen, also the second time round.

and I are currently watching season 1 of HK. We usually watch 1-2 episodes before bed. The other night  said,

    "Argh! I am so excited!"
"Excited about work or Hell's Kitchen?"
    "Hell's Kitchen of course!!!"

  • I never knew there were countless books of countless genres on relationships until I actually looked for them. I had always thought that "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" was the only one ha ha!!!

Few weeks ago I bought a book called "Everything You Know About Love and Sex Is Wrong". The said book suggests that cheating on your partner is normal and can enhance a relationship. Some suggestions were quite useful but it was not really ma tasse de thè. It got even weirder as the page number increased and I stopped half way.

Yesterday I saw a more interesting book called "Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl - A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship". Ha ha! I flipped through it and thought I would find it useful and I went straight to the till. The book does not encourage all women to turn into bitches. Instead it says a woman should not mould herself into her man's liking. For me I know I have changed quite a bit since 7.5 years ago when me and first met. In fact it has been such a long time that I cannot even remember what I was like before I met him! It is time for me to rediscover myself now!!!

Being bilingual meant I could buy Chinese version which was HK$40 cheaper than the one in English hee hee!!

Now it is time to bring back GIRL POWER!!!

(Having said that, I am going to cook him a nice dinner tonight!!!  )

  • PUNCH THY NEIGHBOUR

Here in Hong Kong we are within punching distance to our neighbours, so maybe we should really punch them when they get on our nerves ha ha ha!!!

This photo was taken close to where silly gurly lives. By the way she is off to Bangkok AGAIN, like 5th time since Jan 2005! parked his car at his friend's and while waiting for him to move his car away from the small parking space I was astonished by how close the building accross the streets from from me.

I swear the building looked even closer in real life!

  • ANOTHER WEEKEND...

    Friday

I got eyelash extension ha ha!!

And was lured into a bizarre black facial afterwards...

Sankie's birthday bash + saw Germany : Argentina game @ Red in IFC. I am glad German won. I hate the Argies for obvious reasons. The penalty shots really raised my adrenaline. Little did I know what was going to happen the next day.

    Saturday

On my way to Causeway Bay to watch England : Portugal in my England shirt. So so so proud. England lost, but the team was gallant. They soldiered on with only 10 men. It was painful to see Beckham reduced to tears after he left the field due to an injured ankle. Again, little did I know what was going to happen the next day...

    Sunday

Was glued to SkyNews all afternoon. So saddened to learn that Becks decided to quit being England's captain. By the way this is news anchor Mr Powell, dad of Lydia my classmate at CLC!

  • LATEST NEWS:

David Beckham ha stood down as England's captain! OMG! I just saw his announcement on SkyNews! OMG!

"BEFORE I begin I would just like to say that I have a brief statement that I would like to read out and if you would leave it at that for me I would be very happy.

"Please bear with me because I wrote this late last night.

"On November 15, 2000, Peter Taylor gave me the greatest honour of my career in making me captain of England and fulfilling my childhood dream.

"Now, having been captain for 58 of my 94 caps, I feel the time is right to pass on the armband as we enter a new era under Steve McClaren.

"It has been an honour and a privilege to have kept wearing the armband and I would like to stress that I wish to continue playing for England.

"I look forward to helping both the new captain and Steve McClaren in any way I can.

"I came to this decision some time ago but I hoped to announce it on the back of a successful World Cup. Sadly that was not to be.

"This decision has been the most difficult of my career to date but after discussing it with my family and those closest to me I feel the time is right.

"We were not able to progress further during this World Cup both myself and all the players regret and are hurt by that more than people realise.

"I wish to thank all the players for their support during my time as captain as well as Peter Taylor, Sven and all the coaches.

"I would also like to thank the press and of course the England supporters who have been great to me.

"I want them to know for me it has been an absolute honour.

"I have lived the dream. I am extremely proud to have the worn the armband and to have been captain of England and for that I will always be grateful.

    "Thank you very much."

  • MY WEKEND

    SATURDAY

The weather on Saturday was absolutely wonderful!!! I went to work in the morning then did some shopping @ IFC. Here I was waiting for my bus at outside IFC. Omg I wish I was on a beach or something!

That evening I wanted to make banana bread again but I used salt instead of sugar. I almost threw up when I tasted the batter. Omg how could I be so stupid?! I had to chuck the whole thing away. Omg I almost cried!

    SUNDAY

Met with  and some of his parents's friend (but his parents were not present ha ha!) for dinner Tung Po Kitchen in North Point. The restaurant was in Java Road wet market and was quite shabby but the food was great! I wouldn't say out of this world but it was a lot better than we had expected, just not piping hot like we would expect though. They had some special dishes I had never tried elsewhere, like fried prawns in Chinese rose-flavoured wine, and a chicken dish called 'wind sand chicken'. I am not sure how they cooked it but it was really yummy! *slurp*

    Some info on the restaurant

Look the place was packed!! And yes we sat on plastic stools not chairs!

After dinner I went straight to McSorley's in Soho for England v Ecuador! Omg the place was packed and also packed with England fans. Didn't see anyone cheering for Ecuador. When the national anthem was played we all sang along. It reminded me of boarding school where we had to sing the national anthem at the beginning of each school year. And when the Ecuador nation anthem was played everyone carried on chatting!!

I spent 8 years in the UK and I only really started watching footy at uni.  and I would pop over to our friend BW's who was subscribed to Sky Sports.  was only interested when he betted on the teams/ players ha ha!!

Anyway, what I am saying is, I really am far from being an expert. But still I want to say this: WAYNE ROONEY YOU ARE SO FAT FOR F**KS SAKE YOU COULD BARELY RUN AND YOU REACTED SLOWER THAN MEN THREE TIMES YOU AGE NOW GO SHED SOME POUNDS BECAUSE YOU ARE PLAYING FOR YOUR COUNTRY MATE MAKE US PROUD PLEASE!!!

I must say England is so freaking lucky to be in the quarter finals. I'm not sure whether they can pull through to the finals though. I seriously hope they do. But I am also very worried! I prayed so hard during the game, 3 times actually, and they got through!!

Everyone focused so hard on the telly ha ha ha!!!
